A letter from the dev team
I currently work for a marketing agency, and web development is just one of many services it provides. So we (the small dev team) have been struggling with not so optimal communication with the other teams, strange tickets, and other means of frustration, so I decided to attempt to tackle this in a friendly and humorous manner, and thus I prepared this letter (a presentation), discussed it with the other nerds and then I presented it during the company’s weekly “all hands” meeting.
It was a recent event, so I can’t say whether it changed much, but people liked the presentation and said it was written in a nice, lighthearted and friendly manner.
I know I’m not the only dev, suffering from having to communicate with non-tech people, so I’ll provide the presentation to the other nerds and non-nerds out there. The script I read is kept in the “Notes” section of each slide.

Keep in mind that the fonts will be all over the place (I wrote it in LibreOffice on Linux and relied on Mint’s their default fonts), so this might need some polish. The PDF does not contain the notes I followed during the presentation. They are kept only in the .pptx file.
You can use this freely, you can add or edit data, based on your company’s specifics, I would just ask that you keep the URL in the front page as a reference or at least mention me, since I invested a lot of time in preparing it, preparing the script for it, and drawing each of these illustrations.
